Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are celebrating the birth of their fifth child together, just months after Hilaria opened up about suffering two miscarriages.
The 36-year-old shared a photo of her holding her new baby boy alongside her 62-year-old husband Alec with the words: “We had a baby last night. He is perfect and we couldn’t be happier 🌟. Stay tuned for a name🤍.”
The couple, who married in 2012, have four sons and a daughter together, revealed they were pregnant in April after Hilaria opened up about two miscarriages she suffered, one in April last year and another in November.
In an Instagram post last April the yoga teacher and author revealed the sad news but decided to also focus on the blessings she has around her.
“There was no heartbeat today at my scan…so it’s over…but I have some pretty strong and amazing heartbeats right here. I am surrounded by such love and I feel so fortunate,” she wrote.
Hilaria and Alec are parents to Carmen, 7, Rafael, 5, Leonardo, 3, and Romeo, 2.
Hilaria also lost a baby four months into her pregnancy. Last November the fitness trainer revealed she’d had a miscarriage four months into her pregnancy with a baby girl, according to Good Morning America.
About 10 to 20 out of 100 women will experience a miscarriage, or loss of pregnancy, in the first trimester of their pregnancy, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Alec, who also has a 24-year-old daughter Ireland with first wife and fellow movie star Kim Basinger, also shared the picture to his Instagram page with the words: “Número Cinco está aqui…..(Para mi, número seis) (Number Five is here…For me number six). I love you, @hilariabaldwin My karma is your karma. Your karma is mine.”
Hilaria, who met Alec in New York, shared the good news of her pregnancy with the sound of her unborn baby’s heartbeat captioning the photo:
“Sound up … I’ll let the baby do the talking because I don’t have the words to express how this sound makes us feel.”
“Just got the great news that all is well and all is healthy with this little munchkin. I wanted to share this with you🤍 Here we go again 💫,” she added.
In August the mom of five was surprised with a baby shower which close friends and her husband managed to organize safely despite quarantine.
