Donald Trump’s loyal aide, Natalie Harp, has become the center of attention after letters she wrote to Trump a few years ago were made public, in which she proclaimed her full devotion to him. Meanwhile, as new pictures of a trip to Scotland have been published, showing Harp running behind Trump’s golf cart, she has been given a new, brutal nickname.
New pictures published by the Mirror show the incident for the first time. The images show Natalie Harp running at full speed up a hill after Donald Trump’s golf cart during the first day of his trip to Turnberry on May 2, 2023.
Trump can be seen driving away from the “Halfway House,” a lighthouse marking the halfway point of the course, and behind him, Natalie Harp is running.
The 35-year-old loyal aide, who joined Trump’s campaign team in 2022 and has remained a close presence around him since his return to the White House, later appeared concerned that she may have upset Trump.
In a letter written during or shortly after the trip, she explained why she had been walking, writing: “The first day I was told there were no carts, and people walked, which is why I walked,” the Mirror reported.
She went on: “The second day, I was specifically asked by, I forget who his name was, but one of the main people who worked there, if I could continue walking, and tell any other girls who would head out there to do the same to spare the Course any more Carts.

Natalie Harp added, “If there is anything else I have done to cause you trouble, please forgive me.”
According to the Mirror, Harp reportedly works seven days a week without taking time off and has become a constant presence outside the Oval Office. Per The New York Times, she has even earned the nickname “the human printer” because she follows the president around with a portable printer, ready to put important information directly into his hands.
She reportedly acts as a gatekeeper for those hoping to meet President Trump and is said to have access to his communications and social media accounts. Harp is also reportedly involved in helping the president craft posts for Truth Social.
But now, following the newly released pictures of her running behind Trump’s golf cart, she has earned another, quite brutal, nickname. US Political Editor for the Mirror, Mike Smith, has branded her “The Human Sprinter” in a post on X.
It didn’t take long for social media to respond.
“Where’s the human sprinter? Natalie insane bolt!” one person wrote.
Another added: “The human sprinter printer – or is it printer sprinter?”
Intimate letters to Donald Trump
That Natalie Harp is very devoted to President Donald Trump is now well-known. Just days ago, two letters, one being the one described above, Harp sent to Trump were made public by biographer Michael Wolff, offering a revealing glimpse into their relationship.
In the letters, the 35-year-old Trump aide Harp wrote she wanted a role where she could talk to Trump and look pretty. She also told the president that “you are all that matters to me”.
Harp wrote that she missed the days when Trump would call her “and we’d talk about everything and nothing.”
She also appeared to push back against the idea that their relationship should remain strictly professional, writing: “We shouldn’t have to talk about work all the time.” In another passage, Harp explained how she viewed her place around Trump:
“I’ve always felt like an in-betweener, somewhere between staff and those you enjoy talking to on the plane or at dinner because that’s who I used to be to you when I was a ‘Talkshow Host’ (as much as I hated that actual job!). I wish I could hear every conversation because that’s when you’re having a good time, getting away from it all, at least for a few moments,” Harp wrote in the letter, published by The Daily Beast.
Criticized by Trump author
Speaking on the Inside Trump’s Head podcast, Michael Wolff, who has written books on Donald Trump in the past, said the letters were a “red flag.”
“The relationship here is not a relationship that should exist in a professional setting, and certainly in a professional setting with someone who has been, and may well be again, the president of the United States.
