Iran issues terrifying 2-word warning to U.S troops amid ‘invasion’ claim

The war in Iran is still ongoing, and an escalation of the conflict is getting closer as the Pentagon is reportedly preparing to deploy troops on the ground. Now, Iran has responded with a terrifying warning, promising to rain fire upon them.

The war in Iran has been ongoing for more than a month. Claims over the weekend suggest an escalation of the war is edging closer, even though President Donald Trump has stated that they have already won.

According to United States officials, quoted by The Washington Post, the Pentagon is preparing for a ground operation in Iran. However, it would be limited to raids by special operations forces and infantry troops, and is not a full invasion.

Troops could be involved in potential coastal sites near the Strait of Hormuz, according to officials quoted by the Post, as well as in raids on the strategically important Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf. Its port handles up to 90 percent of Iran’s crude oil exports.

It’s unclear whether Donald Trump would approve of the Pentagon’s plans. In a statement responding to questions about the Washington Post article, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said, “It’s the job of the Pentagon to make preparations to give the Commander in Chief maximum optionality.” It does not mean the president has made a decision.”

Iran issues warning to U.S troops

The Trump administration has already deployed U.S. Marines to the Middle East. Moreover, plans are to send thousands of soldiers from the U.S Army’s 82nd Airborne to the region as well.

Per Al Jazeera, on Saturday, the US Central Command said about 3,500 additional soldiers arrived in the Middle East on board the USS Tripoli. While the U.S. is planning to possibly deploy troops, Iran has now issued a chilling warning if that becomes reality.

On Sunday, Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, stated that Iran is ready to face U.S troops on the ground and that they will rain fire upon them. Moreover, he accused the Trump administration of secretly planning the attack while still seeking to negotiate to end the conflict.

“The enemy, openly, sends messages of negotiation and dialogue, but secretly is planning a ground attack,” Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said.

He continued, stating that the U.S is “unaware that our men are waiting for American soldiers to enter on the ground so they can set them ablaze and punish their regional partners forever.”
