Piers Morgan reveals identity of alleged stalker featured in ‘Baby Reindeer’ in new photo

If you haven’t watched it, then you’ve at least heard about Netflix’s most recent series, Baby Reindeer.

Although the name suggests a cute tale, there’s nothing endearing about the alleged stalking of a hopeful comedian, as the series depicts.

Now, the woman who allegedly inspired the stalker character Martha has come forward to share her side of the story, and Piers Morgan has our first look at her.

Fiona Harvey first revealed her identity to The Daily Record over the weekend because “people have to know what is going on.”

In the series, which premiered with little promotion but has since amassed 54 million views, Richard Gadd recounts through gruesome details, the alleged real life story of being stalked.

Gadd, the series creator, plays a fictionalized version of himself named Donny Dunn, while Jessica Gunning receives credit for portraying Martha, Gadd’s alleged stalker who we now know as Harvey.

After years of harassment, Martha is sentenced to nine months in jail, a sentence that Harvey disputes. She claims it’s “blatantly obvious” that she’s never been to jail.

The series also claims she had been placed in jail prior to stalking Gadd.

“I’ve not been to prison. I don’t know where the four-and-a-half years and nine months comes in,” she said. “None of this happened. It’s a load of rubbish.”

Even though Baby Reindeer showed Gadd’s character going to the police for help, Harvey insists none of that happened in real life.

“This is all made up and hyperbole. There are no restraining orders, injunctions or interdicts anywhere. There’s just no way. I’ve not had the police at my door about any of these things.”

In an April 19 interview with Variety, Gadd responded to the “daunting” reaction he received to his story and his decision to share it.

“It’s all emotionally 100% true, if that makes sense. It’s all borrowed from instances that happened to me and real people that I met,” he told Variety. “But of course, you can’t do the exact truth, for both legal and artistic reasons. I mean there’s certain protections, you can’t just copy somebody else’s life and name and put it onto television.”

Harvey is scheduled to appear on Piers Morgan Uncensored May 9 to “set the record straight.”
