The mom had been to the hospital in Canberra, Australia, with her nine weeks old son. When they left the hospital after a few days and walked towards the car, she noticed something strange on it. When she reached the car she realized what it was: a parking ticket.
“After those days in hospital, a parking ticket was one more thing that I didn’t need” the mom writes in the Facebook group ”Canberra Mums”.
But when she opened the envelope with the ticket she was in for a surprise. Inside was a pink note that read:
“Hi there, I saw your car had a parking ticket on it, I’m sure whatever you are going through at hospital is enough so I have paid for you. Hope things get better.” The note was signed “Laura”.
The mom posted an image of the note on Facebook and in just a few days over 96,000 had liked her post and 14 000 has shared it.
“I hope that Laura sees this and knows how much I appreciate her support.
Thank you so much.”
The comments on her post are very positive as well, and people are really celebrating the unknown hero Laura.
“What a lovely lady Laura must be. Her random act of kindness helped this lady when she obviously needed it. You truly are an angel Laura”, someone comments, while another comment reads:
“Laura you are a beautiful person!”
And I totally agree. Such a beautiful gesture! We need more people like Laura!
