Teen visiting a friend is dumped, already dead, at the ER by total stranger hours later

When Deborah Goldsmith-Dolan dropped off her 13-year-old daughter, Chloe Ricard, at a friend’s house, she never thought that it would be the last time she saw her.

The teen was reportedly safe until she was unceremoniously dropped off, lifeless, at a Boston area hospital.

Now, authorities are working to solve the mystery surrounding her sudden death.

According to police, Chloe’s body was dropped off at the hospital by a man in his 40s. The man has been identified, but police are staying mum about whether or not he is a suspect. By the time she arrived, she didn’t have a heartbeat. Doctors did everything they could to revive her, but it was already too late. She was pronounced dead shortly thereafter, and it is unclear whether or not she knew the man.

“The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is performing an autopsy today, however we anticipate it will take some time before there is a ruling on the cause and manner of death,” Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett’s office told the Globe. “This is an active and fluid investigation. There have been no arrests.”

Chloe’s family says that she was a bright young woman, and quite artistic too. Her father passed away five years ago, but she had a loving family.

“She was just a beautiful, kind girl,” said her mother, Deborah Goldsmith-Dolan. “Everyone that met her loved her, she was so social.”

While the details surrounding her untimely passing remain fuzzy, we hope that her family members find comfort in each other during this difficult time. Please share to send your condolences to this grieving family.
