This Couple’s Dinner Ended In Disaster. But When The Waiter Sees What They Wrote On The Receipt? We Should All Think About This.

You can probably imagine what it was like to wait for a meal in that restaurant: stressful, annoying, and endless. And they could have asked to speak with the manager or left a bad review on a restaurant review site. But this couple chose to do something else, something that not many would even think of. After dinner, they wrote down a little note on their receipt.

In a Facebook post, Makenzie stated her reasoning. “it was very obvious that the issue was being short staffed, not the server. He was running around like crazy and never acted annoyed with any table,” she writes.

Makenzie and her husband left a hefty tip of $100, even though dinner cost just $66.

“We’ve both been in your shoes. Paying it forward,” they wrote on the receipt.

The Shultz’s act of kindness did not go unnoticed. A number of news outlets have picked up the story and praised the couple for their simple but friendly gesture. And I really think they made a good point, too. So therefore, I’m sharing this here. Before you judge someone, think a little more!
