Tributes pour i after ‘beautiful soul’ dies in fatal collision

A family is mourning the loss of their beloved daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Hall, 25, who tragically died following a horrific car accident.

Succumbed to her injuries

Rebecca was struck by a white Suzuki Vitara around 5:35 p.m. on Monday, November 3. The crash happened in St Helens, near Liverpool, England.

Emergency services rushed Becky to Aintree Hospital, but despite their efforts, she succumbed to her injuries two days later on Wednesday, November 5.

In a heart-wrenching tribute, Rebecca’s family shared their grief and love for the young woman they described as “the most beautiful soul inside and out.”

“As a family we are devastated at the passing of a beautiful daughter, sister, grand-daughter, niece, cousin, girlfriend and much loved friend Rebecca (Becky),” the statement read.

Merseyside Police

“Becky was funny, kind and was the most beautiful soul inside and out who cared for everyone, her family and especially her patients at the care home she worked at as a wellbeing co-ordinator, and every stray animal she could ever find.”

The family also thanked the first responders who helped at the scene.

“We want to thank the police family liaison officers, the nurses at Aintree ICU, who have been absolute angels at this most tragic of times, and the organ donation team. We would also like to thank those who stopped at the time of the accident that assisted both Becky and her loved ones.”

”The most selfless person”

Rebecca’s family highlighted her selflessness, noting the impact of her generosity on others.

“Becky was the most selfless person that we know and through that selflessness she has enabled many others to live on through her gift of life. Life will never be the same for the family but we have been blessed to have had her in our lives.”

Merseyside Police confirmed that an investigation into the collision is ongoing.

Detective Sergeant Simon Duffy said that specialist officers are supporting Rebecca’s family and that the driver stopped at the scene and is cooperating fully.

“Our thoughts remain with her family as they continue to grieve this tragic loss. Family Liaison officers are supporting her family as we work towards being able to provide them with answers,” Duffy told Liverpool Echo.

A broken community

The St Helens community is now paying heartfelt tributes to the 25-year-old woman. Many took to the St Helens Star Facebook page to share their grief and memories.

One person wrote: “I’m heartbroken. I have watched Becky grow over the years. She was such a beautiful girl with the biggest heart of gold. I will miss you. Thinking of all who knew her.”

Another added: “My heart goes out to the family especially her mum and dad, I know what it like to lose a child I lost my son in August, he was 53. Love to you all, may your beautiful daughter rest in peace.”
