What you need for a one-day supply:
16 ounces (400 ml) of boiling water
2 medium-sized bananas
2 tablespoons honey
1. Peel the bananas and mash them with a plastic fork. (Don’t let bananas come into contact with metal as it causes the fruit to quickly become brown.)
2. Put the mashed bananas in a ceramic or glass container and pour in the boiling water. Let soak for 30 minutes.
3. After the mixture has cooled, stir in the honey. Remember to double check that it’s really cool—because the honey will lose its effect when heated.
4. Now, your natural cough and bronchitis cure is ready! Drink it four times a day, four ounces (100 ml) at a time, to see results within about five days. Note that this recipe only makes enough for one day, so you can prepare the next days supply the night before.
