According to a press release, customers can expect to begin seeing Krispy Kreme doughnuts at select McDonald’s across the country by the end of 2024. Nationwide availability is expected by 2026.

Initially the program began as a test at nine restaurants in the midwest. The program performed so well that McDonald’s and Krispy Kreme expanded the pilot program to include 160 locations across Kentucky and Indiana.

Doughnuts, which will be delivered to McDonald’s each morning, will be available in three flavors: glazed, chocolate iced with sprinkles, and chocolate iced with a cream filling.

Like the initial 160 locations, customers will be able to purchase individual doughnuts or boxes of six, and they will be able to grab a Krispy Kreme doughnut from McDonald’s at any time of the day.

The partnership seeks to expand both brands.
