Mark Behrend's from Nebraska recently celebrated his 110th birthday! Here's his surprising trick for a long and healthy life:
– He always told everybody the reason he has lived so long is drinking one can of beer, every day at 3 p.m., said his daughter Lois Bassinger.
When Mark Behrend turned 110 years in May, he became the oldest living person in Nebraska. And he’s possibly the oldest living person in the U.S.
His secret for a long and healthy life is one beer can a day.
– He always joked that that was his medicine since he takes very little medicine, his daughter Lois Bassinger said to Omaha World Herald.
Mark’s brand of choice is Miller.
Mark always takes his “medicine” at a special time. 3 p.m. (15:00) every single day he opens up a can of his vital beverage. What brand doesn’t really matter, but he prefer Miller.
I have no clue if there is any scientific evidence of this, but agree on the fact that Mark seems to be one lovely 110-year-old. I don’t know about you, but I will have a cold beer this weekend and think about Mark!
