Jamie Oliver’s act of kindness – offers free food and shelter to those suffering from London fire

Popular celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is being hailed everywhere for several acts of kindness following the terrible London fire.

The star chef has been offering free food and shelter for many of those affected by the devastating ordeal.

“You are all welcome to come hang out in my restaurant and be fed and watered by my Jamies Italian team,” he wrote on Instagram.

In an instagram post, Jamie Oliver’s invites affected families to his restaurant for food and drink – free of charge.

To any of the 100’s of FAMILIES effected by this terrible fire at Grenfell Tower Notting hill today, You are all welcome to come hang out in my restaurant and be fed and watered by my Jamies Italian team. We are in the Westfield just around the corner. Food and drink free of charge so just go and speak to my manager Juan and we will sort you out and give you some love, ” Oliver writes in his Instagram post.

Grenfell Tower, a 24-storey apartment-block not far from the heart of London, caught fire on Wednesday nigth and was left completely detroyed. There have been devastating stories from witnesses about residents desperately trying to escape the fire. At least 30 people have been reported dead and over 70 are still missing.

This is a horrible tragedy, but Jamie Oliver is setting a good example of how far a little kindness can go by doing such a great thing for the victims.
