21-year-old mother of two Samantha Bunce from North Carolina, USA, was recently part of something that no one should ever have to experience. One day as she was home alone with her 4-month-old son, burglars suddenly broke in to her home, armed with guns. Semantha immediately realized that she would have to act very, very fast to save her child.
Samantha Bunce lives with her husband Paul in North Carolina. They have a young daughter and have recently added an adorable little baby boy, Bentley, to their family.

One day, while home alone with their 4-month-old, Semantha heard burglars suddenly break into their home. Semantha’s swift reaction would prove to be a life saver.

She took Bentley to the second floor up and rushed into the bedroom. There, she frantically found and grabbed her husband’s licensed gun. The burglars began to shoot at the door. Sementha didn’t hesitate for a second and returned fire through the bedroom door.

After several shots exchanged between her and the intruders, they were at last scared away. Unfortunately, she’d been shot twice.
She rushed to a hospital where she is currently receiving treatment for her injuries.
After the story of her courage went public, strangers from across the USA began showing their support and donated over US $56,000 in order for her to receive the best medical care possible.
