The U.S. Supreme Court Legalizes Gay Marriage Nationwide.

This is news that I’m welcoming and I’m overjoyed to hear about it. It was a close ruling, but the U.S. Supreme Court legalizes gay marriage nationwide.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Friday that it is legal for all Americans to marry their partner – no matter their gender or sexual orientation.

In 37 states and the District of Columbia are already allowing same-sex marriage, but 15 states have said no to homosexuals right to marry each other. It is 11 years ago since the first legal same-sex wedding took place in the United States, but the country’s views of same-sex marriage have transformed since then.

The U.S. Supreme Court today decided that it is a legal right to marry whoever you want.

“They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right”, justice Anthony Kennedy writes in the historical decision.
