Keanu Reeves is widely known to be one of the most kind actors in Hollywood, but one thing he has always kept rather private is his dating life.
In fact, Reeves has been so quiet about who he’s dating that everyone was shocked when he made his public red carpet debut with visual artist Alexandra Grant in 2019.
Grant and Reeves first crossed paths a dinner party in 2009, and they ended up working on two books together – Ode to Happiness in 2011 and Shadows in 2016.
Since that time, they have been a prominent presence at various events, attending together as a couple.
Earlier this year, Grant shared insights into her relationship with Keanu, shedding light on what it’s like to accompany the renowned actor on red carpets… Though, it’s worth noting that she feels comfortable with or without him!
“The positive aspect of falling in love as an adult is that I had already established my own career by the time our relationship began,” she told People magazine when asked about her experience walking the red carpet solo at the Los Angeles Beverly Arts Icon Awards.
“I feel very confident when we’re on the red carpet together. I feel confident when I’m on it alone,” she added, emphasizing that the experience is “interdependent and independent in the best ways.”
Though, aside from her stunning gray locks, her appearance has barely changed over the years – and this was evident when she took to social media to share some throwback images of herself in her younger days!
The Daily Mail previously reported that Grant spent much of her younger years living in countries like Mexico, Spain, and France.

Grant explained to People that one of her cherished aspects of her relationship with Keanu is their creative synergy, which allows them to explore uncharted territory.
“Witnessing each other’s problem-solving is truly inspiring. It’s like saying, ‘Well, this path seems to be a dead-end. How can we venture down this new avenue?’” she said, adding that the actor is “such an inspiration” to her.
“He’s incredibly creative, exceptionally kind, and incredibly hardworking,” she continued.
Keanu, too, has openly expressed his feelings for Alexandra. In March, he shared a heartwarming moment they had recently experienced, telling People: “A few days ago, with my love,” he recounted. “We were in bed, connected, smiling, laughing, and giggling. It felt wonderful. It was truly special to be together.”
Their relationship is just absolutely adorable! They seem to complement each other perfectly, and we are wishing them all the very best!
