Prince William shares rare detail about Kate Middleton’s recovery

Kate Middleton stayed for almost two weeks at The London Clinic before she was discharged and could return home after her abdominal surgery. Now, she is recovering at Adelaide Cottage. Not only do her husband, Prince William, and her children help her out, but the family has a nanny, and Kate’s parents are said to be visiting to assist her.

Princess Kate decided to keep her medical condition private. Besides, the official statements from Kensington Palace when she had had the surgery – and left the hospital – there has been very quiet about how she is doing.

Prince William broke silence on Wednesday during an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle. There, he also spoke to several of the newly decorated MBE recipients, and to one, William revealed new details of Kate’s recovery.

The last month has been very hectic for the royal family. King Charles received his cancer diagnosis just days ago, which was discovered during a treatment for an enlarged prostate.

At the same time, Kate Middleton underwent a planned abdominal surgery and is out of royal duty until after Eater.

False rumor about Kate Middleton health

The Princess of Wales and Kensington Palace decided to share the news that she had undergone abdominal surgery, but more details were kept private.

Meanwhile, reports about what had happened flooded the internet. One report from journalist Concha Calleja stated that Kate’s life was in “great danger,” and she shared this on the program Fiesta. Moreover, Calleja claimed that “practically an entire hospital” was set up in Kate and William’s home for the recovery period.

However, the news was nothing but false, a palace source told The Times.

“It’s total nonsense,” the source said.” No attempt was made by that journalist to fact-check anything that she said with anyone in the household. It’s fundamentally, totally made-up, and I’ll use polite English here: it’s absolutely not the case.”

For Kate, recovering at home, far away from reporters, cameras, and photographers, and with his family close by, is the best possible outcome. Meanwhile, she is said to continue doing royal work from bed, which she has already done at the hospital.

Moreover, while at The London Clinic, the princess also decided to pin a beautiful letter to a grieving widow.

While Kate has been away from William and her children, the family nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, has been of great help. Of course, she always has been a great asset to the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have nanny “totally dedicated” to them and their children

But now more than ever, Borrallo was most likely a very calming person to have around for William. While Kate is recovering at home, she will continue to be a crucial person, helping William run everything smoothly.

Maria Borrallo has been with William and Kate since 2014. The nanny began caring for George when he was only eight months old.

“She is not married and doesn’t have a boyfriend, as her life is totally dedicated to the family she is working with. She is known for being totally professional – married to the job,” an insider told Hello Magazine.

Borrallo was trained at the prestigious Norland College in Bath. She makes all the decisions at home regarding the children, keeping with William and Kate’s outlined wishes.

A royal insider previously said, “Maria is firm, but she never acts unilaterally with the children on discipline. Kate and William, along with Maria, are strict with the children but have this magic ability to appear not to be.”

When she was hired, Kensington Palace released a statement: “Maria is a full-time nanny who started work with us recently and will be accompanying the Duke and Duchess and Prince George to New Zealand and Australia. We will not be giving further details on Maria or her employment, except to say that the Duke and Duchess are, of course, delighted she has chosen to join them.”

While Kate is back at Windsor, reunited with her children, and able to help with some chores, Barallos’ support will continue to be very much appreciated. When the family moved to Adelaide Cottage from Kensington Palace, the nanny stopped living in the same house. However, she lives at another property just around the corner.

Barallo is “useful” for Kate’s recovery

Speaking with Hello Magazine, parenting expert Jo Frost explained that Maria is crucial for William, Kate, and their children.

“The blessing of her nurturing ways and wonderful service to the family leave the children in good steady hands, affording William the flexibility to be present as a father, attend to his royal duties where he can at home and be the emotional support he will want to be for his wife,” she said.

Speaking with the DailyMail, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said Maria Barallo is a perfect fit for the family.

“Maria Teresa is, according to reports, extremely popular with the children but her training at Norland has meant she is ideal for whatever this role requires. She is of course a background figure, who is seen at some important royal occasions and who is indispensable at a time like this. Her training at the prestigious Norland College in Bath, where she learned a huge variety of skills and to work long hours if needed, will be particularly useful during the pivotal weeks of Catherine’s recovery,” Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Mail.

“The coming weeks may be difficult and will be a test of this redoubtable figure, who is so trusted by the future King and Queen.”

Prince William has stepped up significantly and has taken care of the couple’s three children when she’s been away. However, with Kate’s surgery and his father’s cancer diagnosis, he is now set to return to royal duty.

Royal expert says Prince William is facing “difficult time”

Meanwhile, royal biographer Angela Levin stated that Prince William now faces a “difficult time.” Not only does he have to take care of his duties as a father and husband, but he also juggles the royal duties simultaneously.

Appearing on GB News, Levin says that William will have a “hard time” taking care of his dear wife while also taking on his royal duties, as he also will have to help his father, King Charles.

Also, as Prince Harry returned to the UK to briefly see his father, the royal expert stated that William has “got used to Harry being rude, unkind and attacking his wife.”

“It’s very hard for him. He doesn’t want to have anything to do with Harry at the moment, and you can’t blame him. Because he’s been so rude and told untruths about both William and Catherine,” Angela Levin told GB News.

“I don’t know how you completely can change that. It’s difficult, isn’t it? It’s difficult to completely turn over a relationship and forget all the past. I don’t think people can do that.”

The host of the GB News show, Isabel Webster, claimed that Prince William could be feeling “incredibly” lonely at the moment.

“This is somebody who’s estranged from his brother, he lost his mother in tragic circumstances, recently lost his granny, who was one of the few who understood the responsibility he faces,” she said. “And one of his uncles is disgraced; now his father and wife are both unwell.”

William shares new update on Kate Middleton

Levin responded: “Harry said to me when I was writing his biography that he and William couldn’t be closer, we trust each other totally. We are together. We have the most amazing relationship because we’ve had the same experiences, terrible, difficult experiences. But now that’s not the case.”

On Wednesday, Prince William returned to royal duty as he attended London’s Air Ambulance Charity Gala Dinner.

There, Kate’s husband held a speech and thanked everyone for their kind wishes regarding both his wife as well as his father, King Charles, who was diagnosed with cancer on Monday.

“Good evening everyone. Thank you all for being here. And thank you to those whose hard work has made this evening possible. I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you, also, for the kind messages of support for Catherine and for my father, especially in recent days. It means a great deal to us all,” William said.

He added, “It’s fair to say the past few weeks have had a rather medical focus. So I thought I’d come to an air ambulance function to get away from it all.”

MBE recipient reveals Kate has two “amazing” nurses looking after her

Earlier the same day, Prince William held an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, where he handed out more than 50 honors.

One of the people receiving an MBE was Patricia Sprouse. Later, she took to LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network online, to share the news of the fantastic honor.

However, she also disclosed a new detail about Princess Kate’s recovery. And it turns out that she has quite the help at home.

“What an amazing experience, the castle was just breathtaking, everyone was so lovely to us as we were just in awe of everything,” Sprouse wrote on LinkedIn. “Prince William said that Catherine had two Filipino nurses looking after her and they were amazing and kind.”
