Mike Myers returned to the spotlight Sunday after spending more than a year out of the public eye.
But as he walked the red carpet at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala in Los Angeles, many had to do a double take as the Austin Powers star looked quite different.
The 60-year-old actor’s attendance at the gala, which honored Nicole Kidman for her achievements in film and television, marked the first time in more than a year that he made a public appearance.
It also marked the beginning of a new era for Myers: the silver fox.
The actor switched up his shaggy brown hairstyle for a gray buzz cut.
Myers has kept a low profile since his last project, Amsterdam, in 2022 and has stayed out of the spotlight since spring 2023.
Is this a new hairstyle for Myers or is this temporary? Either way I love it! I think it really suits him.
