Almost a year to the day that Matthew Perry left this world, his house in the Pacific Palisades has been sold. The 3,500-square-foot, four-bedroom home sold for $8.55 million in an off-market deal this past weekend. The home was bought by movie producer and real estate developer Anita Verma-Lallian, as confirmed by her representatives.

Perry bought the home for about $5 million. He died in the hot tub on the property itself. Perry’s death was a result of acute effects of ketamine but his initial death had been ruled as drowning since he was found in the hot tub. Other contributing factors to his death were later ruled to be coronary artery disease and buprenorphine effects.

In August this year, there were many headlines about Perry’s personal assistant, two doctors and an alleged drug dealer known as the “Ketamine Queen” who were all arrested in connection to his death.

One of the doctors, Dr. Mark Chavez pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine earlier this month.

The home the actor passed away in was a 1957-built structure in May of last year just months before his untimely demise. He passed away in the home in October of 2024 when he was only 54 years old.

The house is single-story and measures about 2,800 square feet. It has three bedrooms and four bathrooms, all of which are lined with glass. The back of the house folds around a backyard patio swimming pool. In the front, there is a vintage-styled privacy screen that helps obscure the view from the outside while also lending a sleek detail to the home. You can find more pictures of the home here.

In the living room area, there is a separate office alcove from the billiards room. The area is separated with a double-sided electric fireplace. The primary suite in the house comes with a walk-in closet and a big bathroom which has access to the outdoors.

The home has a contemporary-style eat-in kitchen. There is also a projection room placed in one of the bedrooms. The floors are blonde hardwood with a neutral palette that ties the interior together. The entire house has various sliding glass doors that allow access to the back patio that gives access to the poolside fire pit and covered lounging areas.
