
On Tuesday, Donald Trump appeared in New York City to address the United Nations. However, things didn’t go to plan. As Trump began reading his speech, he suddenly stopped. The teleprompter was not working – and the president had one or two things to say about it.
Donald Trump has had a busy week. Last Tuesday, he touched down in the UK as he and Melania performed a second state visit, and this Sunday, the president attended the memorial for late conservative political influencer Charlie Kirk.
A day later, on Monday, Trump became the talk of the town as he and Secretary of the US. Department of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, made an “autism announcement,” which many experts disputed.
The President of the United States didn’t stay in Washinton for long as he on Tuesday delivered a speech in front of the UN General Assembly in New York City.
World leaders has gather in New York City for the annual United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meeting. Russia’s war on Russia and the conflic in the middle east between Israel and Palestine are expected to dominate the discussions.
Donald Trump sparks laughter at UN with 2-word ‘threat’
While the discussions are serious and solutions critical, laughs was heard through the general assembly as Donald Trump began speaking. It didn’t take long before he paused, as his teleprompter stopped working.
“I don’t mind making this speech without a teleprompter, because the teleprompter is not working,” Donald Trum said, adding that he still was happy to be in the General Assembly hall, per Al Jazeera.
Donald then, jokingly, made a 2-word threat to the person responsible for the teleprompters.
“I can only say that whoever is operating this teleprompter is in big trouble,” Trump added, before some minutes later reading from a printed copy instead.
