Epstein emails reveal horrific plants he grew and how they can be used on victims

Newly unsealed emails from the Jeffrey Epstein files have sent shockwaves across the internet.

And one disturbing detail about the late predator’s private greenhouse that has people talking — and shuddering.

“Zombie” plants

Jeffrey Epstein is believed to have kept “zombie” plants that produced a mind-altering, untraceable drug capable of erasing victims’ free will, according to reports.

Emails show that Epstein grew highly toxic Angel’s Trumpet plants, known scientifically as Brugmansia or Datura, which contain scopolamine, a substance nicknamed “Devil’s Breath” for its ability to induce memory loss, extreme suggestibility, and even temporary loss of free will.

According to Bored Panda, social media users quickly drew eerie comparisons to the 2024 thriller Blink Twice, with one netizen commenting, “Are we sure Blink Twice wasn’t made about this dude?”.

The movie Blink Twice follows a sinister plot on a private island, where a rare plant-based drug is used to manipulate and control victims.

The villain turns the plant into a perfume that wipes the memories of women he and his accomplices assault. The story also delves into how predators exploit wealth and trauma to erase and rewrite their victims’ lives.

Another wrote, “Jeffrey Epstein’s emails reveal him growing trumpet flowers in his greenhouse. Plants notorious for mind-altering, hallucinogenic effects. Sound familiar? In Blink Twice, a mysterious island flower (turned perfume) wipes victims’ memories of abse, letting predators reset the clock. Coincidence?”*

Shocking details

The emails, released January 30 by the Department of Justice as part of the final batch of Epstein files, were made public under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which mandates the release of all unclassified records related to Epstein.

Among the shocking details, a March 3, 2014, email shows Epstein asking a contact named Ann Rodriguez about his “trumpet plants at nursery,” telling her to check with someone named Chris.

He also received a forwarded article in 2015 titled, “Scopolamine: Powerful drg growing in the forests of Colombia that ELIMINATES free will.”*

The files even include a 2022 forwarded victim impact statement describing a 2014 incident in which the victim alleged they were druged with scopolamine**, resulting in extreme drowsiness and memory loss surrounding the event.

Justice Department

While Epstein’s name wasn’t directly mentioned in the statement, it appeared in an attached, now-deleted Facebook link.

Experts from the UK Addiction Treatment Centres warn that in countries like Colombia, where the drug is known as burundanga, it’s often used for dangerous and criminal purposes. Reports suggest that people who are exposed to it have been forced into committing shocking and immoral acts while under its influence.

A few years ago, the U.S. Overseas Security Advisory Council warned travelers in Quito about the risks of falling victim to scopolamine, citing “unofficial estimates” that suggest as many as 50,000 incidents occur there each year. though the source of that figure isn’t specified.

Reports that Jeffrey Epstein may have had access to these so-called “zombie” plants quickly set the internet ablaze.

”That is just horrific considering what happens to the brain when ingesting datura seeds, and it could be a reason for why some victims/survivors describe some experiences that sound like hallucinations or delusions, like speaking of seeing aliens. this all gets more disturbing by the day,” one Reddit user wrote.

Another added, “This whole thing just keeps getting sicker and sicker by the day.” A third chimed in: “Scopolamine, aka Devil’s Breath. Allegedly, this stuff will make you empty out your bank account with no memory. The scariest part is you look fine, no one can tell you’re under its spell.”

Several commenters connected the dots to Blink Twice, with one remarking, “Yeah, that movie freaked me out. A little too real. Especially now. So is this how Epstein brainwashed people into submission?”

While the parallels between Epstein’s greenhouse and the movie are chilling, there’s no confirmation that Blink Twice was inspired by the Epstein case, though his crimes were publicly known during the film’s writing and production.

Jeffrey Epstein was convicted in Florida in 2008 for procuring a child for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute, serving 13 months with work release.

He was later arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges but died by suicide in his New York City jail cell on August 10, 2019, leaving behind a tangled web of questions and shocking revelations that still haunt the public.
