Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman divorced earlier this year. Their daughters, Sunday and Faith, have reportedly taken her side after their parents’ split. Now, Urban is said to be worried about his non-existent relationship with his daughters, especially after the latest brutal comment made by Sunday.
After 19 years of marriage, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman finalized their divorce earlier this year. The couple has two daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, who reportedly have grown closer to their mother after the couple’s divorce.
Based on what Sunday said in an interview with Elle Australia for their March cover story, it certainly appears she is closer to his mother.
Sunday explained that visiting photo shoots with her mom as a child inspired her to try the modeling world and film industry herself. Meanwhile, she didn’t even mention his father in the interview.
“I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences and especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age,” Sunday explained. “My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do.”
Speaking with The Daily Mail, an insider said that Faith and Sunday spend most of their time with Nicole under the custody agreement following the divorce. Also, the insider stated that Nicole has done nothing to try to “turn” her children against Keith.

According to the news outlet, the daughters have chosen for themselves how much contact they want with Urban. Since the breakup, the relationship has not been as close as before.
However, sources close to the family say Urban still believes things can get better and hopes they will grow closer again over time.
“They’ve made their own choices about their dad,” a source claimed to the Daily Mail. “[Kidman] isn’t like that. Keith hasn’t tried much to make things better in their eyes. The girls have always been very close with their mother. They are her everything.”
Meanwhile, another source stated that Sunday and Faith are “hurt and angry on her behalf” following their parents’ split.
“There’s some resentment against Keith. If they are blaming someone, it’s him not her,” they said, with another source saying that he is “hurt, but he feels like he can patch things up.”
Keith Urban left “numb” amid latest interview by daughter
Sadly, the interview that Sunday did with Elle Australia hasn’t made things better. According to an insider speaking with New Idea, the rock star has been left “numb” because she doesn’t mention him.
“Keith doesn’t know what to say, but he’s trying to put on a brave front. He knows he has to be patient; however, this latest snub – so publicly, there in black and white – has stumped him,” the source said.
