The legendary actor Chuck Norris passed away on Friday. Now, his twin children have broken the silence, with his daughter, Danilee, sharing never-before-seen pictures and making an emotional promise.
It was on Friday, March 19, that TMZ first reported that Hollywood legend Chuck Norris had been hospitalized. Hours before, he was reported to have shown no visible signs of distress, and upon arrival at the hospital, he was said to be in good spirits.
However, the emergency was far more serious than expected. The actor passed away at age 86. On Instagram, his family released a heartbreaking statement about his sudden death.
“To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family,” the statement read.
“He lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on so many lives.”

“While our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the life he lived and for the unforgettable moments we were blessed to share with him. The love and support he received from fans around the world meant so much to him, and our family is truly thankful for it. To him, you were not just fans, you were his friends,” it continued.
Chuck Norris leaves behind his wife, Gena, and his five children. On Instagram, his twin son and daughter, Danilee and Dakota, 24, have broken their silence. Dakota shared several black-and-white photos of himself and his late father, praising Chuck for his kindness, curiosity, courage, and strength.
“You were the greatest father God could have ever given me and the finest man I’ve ever known. No matter what I was going through, you were always there. You made sure I knew how much you loved me. Honest to God, I don’t think there was a single day that went by where you didn’t say it. I’m so proud to be your son. The memories we made, the lessons you taught me, and the constant laughs we shared will stay with me for the rest of my life,” Dakota wrote.
Danilee has chosen a life outside of the spotlight. She has only one movie credit to her name and has rarely been seen in public.

On Instagram, she shared a long tribute to Chuck Norris and also revealed never-before-seen photos of her and her dad. Danilee expressed her deep love and gratitude for her father, describing him as her protector and safe place throughout her life.
She highlighted his kindness, strength, and compassion, and expressed her gratitude for the wisdom and love he gave her and her brother. She hopes to honor his legacy by showing the same care and tenderness to others.
“There is so much I want to say with 24 years’ worth of memories I could write about, but I will go ahead and at least say this – I could not have asked the Lord for a more amazing father,” Danilee Norris wrote. “I thank You, Lord, for blessing me with a father who took every opportunity to show me that he wanted to give us a good life. And thank you, Dad, for supporting me in all my passions and for pushing me to not shy away from the impossible.”
She added, “Thank you for your constant compassion and for loving me so much that it’s made me learn to love myself. I promise I will always and forever try to make you proud even if you already reminded me every day that it was impossible not to. I love you forever.”
