This Video Proves That The Tedious Process of International Adoption Is Completely Worth It.

It’s not like Jennifer Murrow Grover and her husband, James, had been through the complexities of international adoption before.

According to a video by West Sands Adoptions, after the couple had three children of their own, Jennifer, “started feeling very much that there was a little girl that was supposed to be in our family that was not going to come through us biologically and we needed to go find her.”

Jennifer had suffered five miscarriages over the course of a few years, when the couple decided to consider adoption. Soon, Jennifer and James took in three children from countries across the globe.

However, the longing to have more children eventually returned, and this time, the couple looked to Africa.

When Jennifer saw 7-year-old Bronson and 14-year-old Joseph from the Democratic Republic of Congo, she felt an immediate connection. “When I saw Bronson’s picture, I knew instantly that he was ours.”

A couple days later, Jennifer and James saw photo a photo of Joseph, and the couple knew that they’d found their boys.

The adoption process started in 2012, but it was anything but smooth. While waiting for Bronson and Joseph waited for their U.S. visas, the Congo suspended international adoptions, forcing the boys to wait until now to finally meet their parents.

But as you’ll see in this emotional video, all the hardships the family endured, including three years of waiting, only made their first meeting that much sweeter.

In 2012 (yes, you read that correctly…2012), we started the adoption process to bring home our two precious sons from the Democratic Republic of Congo. March 1, 2016 11:45pm…
