Meghan Markle shared a new video of her and Lilibet making fruit spread, and now everyone is talking about the five-year-old’s voice.
Harry and Meghan’s daughter seldom appears in public, and when she does, we’ve rarely heard her speak.
Now royal fans get a two-for-one though. Meghan has shared a video of herself making fruit spread at home, with Lilibet helping.
Near the end, Meghan asks her daughter what she thinks of the result.
“I think it’s beautiful,” Lilibet says.
This little comment now has people talking. Reports have also highlighted her American accent.
A kitchen scene that doubles as an ad
The video comes as As Ever, Meghan’s lifestyle brand, promotes its 2026 holiday collection. The brand has launched products, including an Advent calendar created with Compartés.
As Ever is in face far from Meghan’s first business venture. In caption of the new video, she reveals that when she was around eight she was already making scrunchies, selling Girl Scout cookies and running lemonade stands and later at a frozen-yogurt shop.
“My entrepreneurial spirit was always there.”
It now remains to be seen if Lilibet has inherited her mother’s passion for business, and just how much she’ll be seen in the public eye moving forward. Prince Harry and Meghan have kept that their children relatively sheltered from the media thus far – wholly understandable given their tender ages – but their recent move to the UK has woken renewed interest on this side of the Atlantic.
Earlier this year, Harry and Meghan announced they would be returning to the UK despite the issues they’ve repeatedly given voice to regarding a break down of relations with the Royal Family and concerns over their own security.
At the time of writing, reports state that the Sussexes are living in the Cotswolds. Though Harry cited there being “many reasons” as to why they had relocated, they haven’t explained the move in any great detail.
