Ivanka Trump has shared photos from her son’s 13th birthday dinner at the White House, hosted by her dad, President Trump. Plenty of fans loved the family moment, but one question kept coming up in the comments.
Ivanka Trump posted a carousel of photos on Instagram this week after her son Joseph turned 13. The birthday dinner was held in the White House’s Red Room, and the photos show Joseph with his parents and his grandfather.
“An unforgettable birthday dinner for Joseph, hosted by Grandpa at the White House,” Ivanka wrote. “Thirteen is off to quite a start!”

Besides the dinner, the carousel includes a photo of Joseph in a suit outside the White House, and one of him with his grandfather in the Oval Office. Ivanka later joined them for a picture of all three in the West Wing. Her husband, Jared Kushner, is also at the table in the dinner photos.
Many followers sent birthday wishes and praised the president for making time for his family. “President of the United States and still makes time to hold a birthday dinner with his grandson,” one fan wrote.
Others were quick to spot a missing person, however. “No Melania?” one person asked. Another wrote: “Where’s grandma Melania?” A third also asked why Joseph’s siblings weren’t pictured.
What is Ivanka doing these days?
It’s been a big few weeks for Ivanka’s family. On September 26, she posted old family photos for her grandmother’s 100th birthday, with the caption “100 years of life, love, family and memories.”a Ivanka’s own birthday is October 30.
Ivanka is Donald Trump’s second child, and his eldest daughter, with his first wife Ivana, who died in 2022. She grew up in Manhattan and later worked as an executive vice president at the Trump Organization, and appeared as a boardroom judge on her father’s show The Apprentice.
Trump has five children with three different wives. Donald Jr., and Eric are Ivanka’s brothers. Both both work in the family business. Tiffany, 33, is his daughter with his second wife, Marla Maples, and Barron, 20, is his youngest and his only child with Melania, his current wife.
When Trump won the presidency in 2016, she moved to Washington and worked as an adviser in the White House. For his second term, she chose to stay out of the administration, saying she wanted to focus on her family. She and her husband, Jared Kushner, now live in Florida with their three children, and Ivanka often posts family photos of her father with her kids on Instagram.
