Khloé Kardashian is setting the record straight about her relationship with Scott Disick after renewed speculation that they could be more than just friends.
The rumors have followed the pair for years. However, the idea of a romance would be particularly complicated given that Scott previously dated Khloé’s older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, with whom he shares three children.
Now, as The Kardashians returns with new episodes and Khloé’s four-year period of celibacy becomes part of the storyline, fans are once again questioning whether something romantic could be happening between them. Khloé, however, insists that is not the case.
During the October 22 episode of her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, she addressed the speculation.
“Oh my god, this Scott thing. I actually sent it to Scott and I was like, ‘Did you know that people think you and I are dating again?’” she began, according to Tyla. “And he said, ‘Why? Where did this come from?’”
“I have no idea the origin of it. Everything they’ve shown is old stuff,” she continued.

Part of the renewed interest stems from a scene featured in the trailer for the latest season of The Kardashians. In the clip, Khloé and Scott joke about the possibility of having a baby together, prompting some viewers to question whether the conversation hinted at something more.
“That, obviously, is editing, but no, we’re not a couple. One, He’s the father of my two nephews and niece,” Khloé said.
She then joked about the complicated family dynamic that would follow if they ever did have children together, pointing out that Scott would end up being both an uncle and a stepdad to her kids.
While acknowledging that unusual family arrangements have happened before, Khloé made it clear that she had no intention of becoming part of one herself.
“Sure, in history, I’m sure that’s happened for people, but it’s not going to happen here. That’s like the main thing,” she added. “Two, also, he’s like my brother. Like my real legit brother. That’s weird.”

The dating speculation is nothing new for the family. Back in October 2023, Kris Jenner added fuel to the conversation when she joked that Scott had a particular kind of crush on Khloé.
During an outtake shown in the end credits of an episode of The Kardashians, Kris described it as a ‘brother/sister crush,’ suggesting that Scott admired Khloé in a way that could be mistaken for romantic interest.
“but it’s like a brother/sister crush, where he looks at you and admires—“ she said.
Khloé quickly pushed back on the suggestion, making it clear she didn’t agree with her mother’s description of their relationship.
“That’s not a thing,” Khloe interjected. “There’s no such thing as a brother/sister crush, unless you live in the six states that legalise incest and we don’t do that here.”
During the debut episode of her podcast, Khloé revealed that one of the most common questions people asked her was whether she and Scott had ever ‘hooked up’.
Scott has also expressed disbelief that anyone would seriously consider the possibility of them being a couple.
“Like, bro, I have children with her sister. We’re not soulmates… The fact that people think that is psychotic”.
Despite years of online speculation, both have maintained that their connection is a friendship rooted in their shared family ties.
