Donald Trump branded ‘disgusting’ over ‘gross’ act toward Nicki Minaj

President Donald Trump is facing criticism after an appearance with rapper Nicki Minaj at a political rally in Michigan.

The incident unfolded during a rally in Port Huron on October 25. The rapper, an outspoken supporter of the president, joined Trump onstage.

While addressing the crowd, Trump made a remark about her backside, describing it as “one hell of a beautiful a**.” He then called on her to stand up, adding that it was “hard to miss.”

The audience responded with cheers as Minaj stood and acknowledged the crowd.

Trump then said he hoped the rapper had not taken offense, adding that he and his supporters loved her and that she had been with them for a long time.

Although Minaj did not publicly object to the remark, the moment prompted criticism from viewers who questioned the president’s decision to comment on her body in front of a cheering audience.

But it didn’t end there. Footage shared on X also drew attention to Trump as Minaj descended the stairs after speaking and embracing the president. Some viewers interpreted his gaze as an attempt to look at her from behind, although the footage alone does not establish what he was looking at.

Trump’s comment about Minaj

The clips prompted a wave of negative reactions.

One viewer wrote: “I’m so disgusted by this whole thing. She’s not even offended by his comment and standing her up in a cheap show,” according to VT.

Another commented: “Two gross, stupid people,” while a third questioned the crowd’s reaction, writing: “Who are all of these disgusting people clapping and cheering for this??? Gross.”

Other users were similarly critical of the president’s conduct.

“This behavior of his should receive ZERO APPLAUSE,” one person wrote.

Another described the exchange as “Totally weird. Almost like he knows it’s over,” while a different commenter asked: “How can people keep excusing this disgusting behavior?”

One particularly critical response focused on the way the president had spoken about Minaj’s appearance.

“I can’t stand Trump, but this literally makes me depressed. Our President on live camera objectifying a woman, reducing her to nothing more than her backside. Every woman should be ashamed of him.”

The reactions reflect viewers’ interpretations of the exchange, rather than establishing Trump’s intentions as he watched Minaj leave the stage.
