War expert reveals key things the U.S must do to prevent WW3

Many fear that WW3 could be close. Now, a leading American expert has warned that World War III may be possible, and that the coming weeks could be critical to preventing a much bigger conflict.

Many have probably thought about the fear of World War III in recent years. With conflicts continuing in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, it is easy to understand why concerns are growing.

Sadly, modern warfare is no longer just about soldiers fighting against each other on the battlefield. While troops still play an important role, powerful weapons such as drones, missiles, and bombs have become an even greater threat.

The possibility of nuclear war is sadly very real. However, it is important not to jump to conclusions or let fear take over. Even in uncertain times, there is a difference between preparing for the worst and assuming the worst will happen.

Professor Robert Pape, a political scientist and international security expert at the University of Chicago, believes there are still ways to stop tensions worldwide from spiraling out of control.

On Stephen Bartlett’s The Diary of a CEO podcast, Pape explained the three major steps he believes the United States and its allies must take to prevent the situation from becoming even more dangerous.

He warned that the conflict in Iran, Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine, and growing political divisions in the U.S. could create what he described as an increasingly dangerous situation.

Pape has spent 30 years studying political violence and has advised every US administration since the September 11 attacks. Now, the expert claims action is needed before tensions reach a point where they become much harder to control.

Pape believes Congress should make it clear that the Trump administration must not escalate military action against Iran until the new Congress takes office, unless Iran attacks first.

He described this as the most important factor, saying, “No escalation by the Trump administration in Iran until the new Congress is seated unless Iran strikes first,” Pape said on The Diary of a CEO podcast.

Professor Robert Pape concluded by calling the proposal the “core firebreak,” stating that limiting further military action could prevent another dangerous escalation.
