In May 2010, several hailstorms dropped golfball-, baseball-, and softball-sized hail on Oklahoma, causing an incredible $1 billion dollars in damages. While it’s hard to imagine what that looks like on a statewide level, YouTube user “beatlesfanxxl” filmed an unbelievable video of one of these storms as it hit his backyard swimming pool. beatlesfanxxl and his family were out on their porch watching a nasty storm pass through, when suddenly the dark, gloomy skies opened up. They couldn’t believe their eyes when baseball-sized hail came pouring down from the sky. “This was the most insane hail storm or storm in general I have ever seen!” he wrote on YouTube. “Sorry about all of the oh my Gods. I was just in shock.” For four incredible minutes, the video captures the scene as the storm creates monster waves in the family’s backyard swimming pool. “I’ve never seen anything like this!” the cameraman shouts.
