Truck stolen from gas station with 6-month-old baby still inside – let’s help police get them home

Police are looking for a truck stolen from a BP gas station in Plainfield, Indiana with a 6-month-old child still inside.

***UPDATE – The baby has now been found!

According to alarming reports put forward by the Plainfield PD, the incident happened early this morning at a gas station, and saw a suspect steal a truck and knowingly or unknowingly take the baby boy with them.

The vehicle in question is a pearl white 2014 Chevrolet Silverado High Country with the license plate DPC803. It was taken at around 6:30 a.m.

Anyone who sees the vehicle, or has any information, should call 911 directly.

I don’t know about you, but I can only imagine how worried this baby’s family must be. To steal a vehicle is a reprehensible act, but to do so and then drive off with a 6-month-old baby is beyond imagining.

Please help spread the word about this crime, in the hope that this child will be recovered safely.
