This Flashmob In A Museum Seriously Gave Me Goosebumps.

Since the very first flashmob I saw years ago, I was enthralled. I immediately fell in love the concept of “spontaneous” performances, and the more people involved, the better. There’s just something quite powerful about such a large group of people getting together when no one suspects anything and surprising everyone with a synchronized dance… or musical performance. But few flashmobs had the effect this one had on me. In it, the U.S. Air Force Band exhilarated Smithsonian museum visitors with its first-ever flash mob. And what a performance it was! Growing to an amazing 120 musicians, the four-minute performance features an original arrangement of “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring/Joy to the World.” The band’s performance left me speechless, and at 3:55 min, I was completely blown away. All I could say is being there in person must have been an unforgettable experience.
