It’s one of the joys of being a mother—watching your little one accomplish an almost daily stream of firsts, from the first smile to the first step to the first day of school and beyond. And while some of these firsts come naturally, others take a little encouragement from mom. The video below clearly shows the effect of a mother’s love on her baby. The colt in the video is a bit too afraid to jump over a little wall in the field where he lives. But after his mom takes him by her side and shows him how it’s done, he easily follows.
