Chad Lowe’s heartbreaking final post about daughter Fiona resurfaces after her death at 13

Actor Chad Lowe and his wife Kim Painter confirmed on Tuesday that their 13-year-old daughter, Fiona, had died. Now, his heartbreaking final post about his daughter before her death has resurfaced.

In a statement shared by Page Six, the family wrote, “We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona. She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.”

“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.”

The statement concluded, “If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.”

Parents of the students at Fiona’s school received an email from the principal, informing them of the 13-year-old’s death.

“It is with deep sadness that I am calling you to advise you of the death of one of our students,” the email read. “Our sincere condolences go out to the student’s family, friends and teachers Counselors are available to meet with students and staff who may need emotional support during this difficult time.”

Now, a heartfelt and emotional post Lowe shared on his Instagram page last year, in connection to Fiona’s birthday, takes on a heavy meaning.

“Celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!!,” he wrote.

“Keep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!!”

The comment section has now been flooded with condolences.

One person wrote: “My heart goes out to all of you,” according to VT.

“Oh sweet Fiona. I am so sorry darling girl. My heart is broken for all of you. Sending so much love,” another one continued, and a third one wrote: “So so so sorry for your pain. May Fiona rest in the Light, AS light.”

Another one added: “Rest in peace beautiful girl. i’m so sorry the world wasn’t kinder to you, sweet angel. i hope you’re smiling and dancing wherever you are now.”

Fiona’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
