Haunting videos emerge showing Liam Payne’s final hours and days

Former One Direction star Liam Payne was dazed, slurring his words and appeared shaky on his feet in the hours prior to his tragic passing.

According to RadarOnline, the 31-year-old’s behavior during his last days alive had become a cause for concern amongst his fanbase and those closest to him – this prior to his fall from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

It’s now been claimed that friends of the star – who had spoken candidly in the past over his problems relating to alcohol and prescription drug addiction – were planning an “intervention” with Payne prior to his untimely death.

The 31-year-old had traveled to Argentina with girlfriend Kate Cassidy. The pair were seen at a concert of fellow former One Direction member Niall Horan earlier this month, before Cassidy left South America to return home on October 14.

Payne died on October 16 after falling from the balcony of his third-floor room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel. The singer was taken to a morgue in Buenos Aires, where medical professionals performed an autopsy to determine an official cause of death.

According to a report from National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office No. 14., Payne died from “polytrauma, internal and external hemorrhage.”

In the days leading up to his death, the 31-year-old singer appeared in good spirits as he interacted with fans. Yet loyal supporters of One Direction insisted his body language was off, and there were many who took to the internet to share their opinion that something was awry.

One video which garnered a host of worrying comments saw Payne appearing unsteady on his feet as he hugged a fan before slurring his words. Another showed the singer trying to fix his hair as he posed for a picture, while an insider told the Daily Mail that he had exhibited “disturbing and weird behavior” after smashing his laptop on the floor in the hotel lobby.

The insider in question told the Mail that Payne had claimed: “I used to be in a boy band – that’s why I’m so f—-d up.”

On the day of his death – Wednesday, October 16 – the UK-born singer had to be carried back to his room after acting erratically in the hotel lobby.

The hotel owner is reported to have called the police and begged for them to send someone quickly, but Payne’s body was found in an outside courtyard not long after.

One source is said to have revealed to The Sun that close friends of the singer were planning to stage an intervention before the heartbreaking incident that claimed his life.

“His friends have been worried about him for weeks because he was struggling with his career and wanted to release some new music but he felt he wasn’t as good as his other bandmates, which they kept telling him just wasn’t true. He was just always so hard on himself,” the insider said.

“Then in recent weeks his drinking and suspected drug use started to worry his friends, they were actually planning an intervention, it was that bad.”

Rest in peace, Liam Payne.
