Katharine McPhee abruptly cancels final tour appearances amid ‘horrible tragedy’ in her and David Foster’s family

Katharine McPhee will not be making an appearance during her husband David Foster’s final two tour dates in Asia due to a “horrible tragedy” in their family.

The former American Idol contestant made the announcement via Instagram on Friday.

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I have to miss our final two shows of our Asia run,” she addressed her fans in Jakarta. “David and I have had a horrible tragedy in our family and at least one of us needs to get back home to our family.”
