Matt Damon and wife Luciana make rare public appearance with all four daughters at movie premiere

It was a family affair at the premiere of Matt Damon’s newest movie, The Instigators.

On Wednesday, July 31, Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso, walked the red carpet with their four daughters for the New York premiere of the actor’s latest film. Damon’s mother was also in attendance.

Along with the couple’s daughters Isabella, 18, Gia, 15, and Stella, 13, Barroso’s 24-year-old daughter Alexia, whom she shares with her ex-husband Arbello Barroso was also there.

Nancy Carlsson-Paige, the Academy Award winning actor’s mother was also in attendance to support her son.

Damon shared with People that it was his wife who was initially attached to the film before he got involved, adding her taste is just one of a small group people who he completely trusts. Casey and Ben Affleck are two of the others.

“She actually produced this one,” he said. “So she was very actively involved in this one, but I just trust her.”

“And so when they say something, when they dig their heels in on something, any of them do, I pay attention. We all have blind spots creatively or otherwise. And when I see somebody that I agree with so much feeling strongly about something, I look really carefully at it,” the Good Will Hunting star added.

One of the last times the entire family was seen together was during the July 2023 premiere of Oppenheimer in Paris.

It’s great to see the entire family supporting Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso! Hopefully we won’t have to wait another year before we see them all together again.
