Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to step back from their official royal duties, they have had to deal with the media attention they receive. The couple has not been shy about talking about their feelings towards the royal family, as well as what led to their decision to leave their duties.
Prince Harry, who lost his mother, Princess Diana, partly because of the paparazzi, is one of their biggest critics. This is perhaps why the couple today makes it a priority not to share too much of their children with the world and to protect them as much as possible.
Meghan Markle just shared an image of her daughter Lilibet on Instagram in a post to celebrate Valentine’s Day. In the post, Markle’s husband, Prince Harry, is holding their daughter Lilibet in his arms. She captioned the picture, “These two + Archie = my forever Valentines”
Markle has been very vocal about her desire to protect her children’s privacy. She usually only posts images and videos of her children where their faces are either covered or not visible in the media she chooses to share online.
The last time she posted about her children was when the family went to a pumpkin patch during Halloween. Other than that, Meghan Markle’s social media presence is largely devoted to her lifestyle brand and herself.
She said in an interview about her need to protect her childrens’ privacy as, “Our kids are young… They’re amazing. But all you want to do as parents is protect them.
“And so, as we can see what’s happening in the online space, we know that there’s a lot of work to be done there, and we’re just happy to be able to be a part of change for good.”
As for Markle, she is rumored to be returning to acting soon. Deadline reported, that she will appear in the upcoming film Close Personal Friends. She has previously talked about how she was ‘done’ with acting, but she also said ‘never say never’ because she did not want to lose out on the option entirely, it seems.
