Millie Bobby Brown makes bold claim about Netflix’s hit series ‘Stranger Things’

Although fans might be upset Stranger Things is ending, Millie Bobby Brown is ready to move on.

“I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye,'” the 19-year-old actress told Glamour.

Brown, who is engaged to Jon Bon Jovi’s son Jake, has starred on the hit Netflix show since 2016. And now, five seasons later, Brown is ready to tackle different projects.

The actress, who plays Eleven on the series, is grateful for all “the tools and the resources to be a better actor” she received from the show, but said it’s time to move on and pursue other passion projects.

Not only is the teen an actress, but she is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, an author, a student at Purdue University, a movie producer, and owner of the makeup company.

“When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘All right, let’s do this. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here,'” Brown said. “Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about.”

As for one of her first projects post-Stranger Things, she’ll star in a postapocalyptic movie alongside Chris Pratt.

“It’s a very exciting opportunity that I never thought I’d be able to have, to be able to be treated the same as him and to be looked at and respected the same as him on the set by the production, by the studio.”

After that, Brown has her wedding to Jake Bongiovi to look forward to.

“After meeting Jake and seeing, ‘Oh, I don’t have to be this stereotypical wife for him. He doesn’t want me to be that either. He wants me to go and do my thing and live my life, and he will hold my hand in the process of that,’ I was like, ‘Oh, I do want this.”

Millie Bobby Brown is an inspiring young woman that people of all ages can learn from.

While we’ll miss her and the rest of the cast of Stranger Things, we can’t wait to see what she’ll get up to next!
