Nicole Kidman’s net worth revealed as ‘cocaine clause’ could land Keith Urban multimillion-dollar payout

Nicole Kidman’s divorce from Keith Urban may have made headlines around the world, but once the initial shock faded, attention quickly turned to another question: what happens to a fortune worth hundreds of millions of dollars?

The couple finalized their divorce on Jan. 6, 2026, bringing an end to their 19-year marriage. While many details of the settlement remain private, court filings reveal multiple crucial terms, and one reported provision in their prenuptial agreement has triggered especially intense interest.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Kidman is worth an estimated $250 million, compared to Urban’s $75 million. Together, they built a combined fortune of roughly $325 million and amassed a global real estate portfolio estimated at $282 million, according to VT.

Much of the public discussion has centered on a reported sobriety provision in the couple’s 2006 prenup, often referred to as the “cocaine clause.” Multiple reports claim the agreement entitled Urban to receive between $600,000 and $900,000 for each year he remained sober, abstaining from alcohol, cocaine and other drugs.

Urban has been open about his past struggles with addiction. Just months after the couple married, he spent three months in rehab. Looking back on that period, Urban told Oprah Winfrey in 2010: “Everything was just designed to fuse us together. Nic has taught me so much and opened my eyes in so many ways,” according to VT.

If the reported clause remained in effect throughout their marriage, legal analysts estimate it could amount to between $11 million and $17 million. However, neither the existence of the clause nor any payout has been confirmed in the divorce filings.

Public court records show that neither Kidman nor Urban will pay alimony. Child support was also set at zero after court documents stated Urban had “already prepaid all child support obligations” as part of the wider financial settlement.

The couple’s two teenage daughters will primarily live with Kidman, while Urban will have parenting time every other weekend and on alternating major holidays. A non-disparagement clause between them also states that they will “will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent” and “will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent.”

“I’m staying in a place of ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be,” Kidman told Rolling Stone in March 2026, according to VT.
