After months of silence, Pamela Anderson has finally dished the details of her rumored “romance” with Liam Neeson, whose company she enjoyed on set – and behind closed doors at her co-star’s secluded home.

In 2025, the Baywatch legend starred opposite Liam Neeson, 73, in the reboot of The Naked Gun, playing femme fatale Beth Davenport.
Neeson, who played Frank Drebin Jr. – the fictional son of Leslie Nielsen’s iconic character – praised Anderson’s performance throughout the film’s press tour.
‘Madly in love with her’
The Oscar-nominated actor didn’t hide his admiration, confessing in an interview with People, that he was “madly in love with her.”
“With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” Neeson gushed over his co-star. “I can’t compliment her enough; I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with.”
Their flirtatious dynamic didn’t go unnoticed, especially during promotional appearances where their public displays of affection drew both applause and speculation.
Many fans welcomed the pairing, while others suspected it was all a PR stunt. But as the rumors swirled, Anderson kept silent – until now.

In a recent People cover story, Anderson finally shared the truth behind the headlines and the whispers.
Describing the experience as “romantic,” she opened up about their close connection.
“If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming,” she told the publication about spending an “intimate week” with the Oscar-nominated star at his upstate New York home. “I had my own room…Our assistants both came; even family stopped by.”
‘Future Mrs. Neeson’
During that week, the two went to dinner at a small French restaurant, where Neeson introduced her as “the future Mrs. Neeson.” They spent time in his garden, with Anderson tending to a rosebush overtaken by mint. “I was happy to help, and he appreciated,” she shared.
The week was not without its memorable quirks. One morning, Anderson told People that the Schindler’s List star chased off a bear from his breakfast window while wearing only his bathrobe.
But after their “lost romantic week,” she said that they went their “separate ways to work on other films.”
Fans notice flirty relationship
And then they reunited during the film’s promotional circuit, where fans again noted their affectionate behavior – Anderson even playfully applied her lip balm to Neeson during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
“We were having fun,” she said, adding: “A little bit like a Nancy Meyers film.” Myers directed several blockbuster romcoms like Something’s Gotta Give and It’s Complicated.
‘Very proud of me’
The last time they saw each other was in August 2025 – the same month The Naked Gun hit the theaters – when Neeson showed up to support her during her performance in Tennessee Williams’ Camino Real at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Massachusetts.
“He is such a supporter of this new trajectory in my career and kindly tells me he is very proud of me,” she says. “I’m sure we will always be in each other’s lives.”
‘We have real feelings’
As for those who dismissed the relationship as a publicity gimmick, the Home Improvement star was clear: “I always was laughing when people thought, ‘Oh, that’s a publicity stunt.’ I’m like, ‘A publicity stunt? This is real. We have real feelings.’
Still, despite the closeness and warmth between them, Anderson concludes with a note of honesty and finality. “I adore Liam,” she said, “but we are better friends, in full honesty.”
