Former Jackass star Steve-O is no stranger to flirting with controversy, but his latest stunt has surprised fans even so.
According to reports, the stuntman-come-entertainer-come-comedian-come-podcast host received a tattoo from none other than popular musician Post Malone, and the design he went for is… well, let’s just say it’s classic Steve-O.
Given his explosive history of death-defying stunts and cringeworthy injuries, there aren’t many things the 50-year-old can do these days that raise eyebrows. This… this might just fall into that category.
People gets tats for all sorts of reasons. Humans of different cultures have been inking themselves for countless centuries, and today tattoos have become a normal part of society.
Though once they indicated religious beliefs or symbolized status – and indeed still do today in certain circles – many folk get tattoos simply because they decide one day that they want to. It doesn’t have to be a huge undertaking or reflect years of inner-debate.
Just ask Steve-O, who opted for a tattoo that he has no way of covering up or hiding in certain situations. Oh, and did we mention that the tat in question is a penis?
Yes, though Steve-O’s days of throwing himself down staircases and being bitten by animals in the name of laughs on Jackass look to be over, his inner-child continues to thrive.
As per reports, he told Page Six: “I’m getting my first face tattoo. Post Malone is going to tattoo a dick on my forehead.
“That’s the plan.”
And it seems that plan came to fruition, with Post Malone opting to place the phallic tattoo above Steve-O’s right eyebrow, presumably so that he can waggle the drawing by flexing the muscles in his forehead.
Steve-O explained to Page Six that he had wanted the tattoo to mark his 50th birthday, which fell on June 13.
