A GoFundMe was created to support the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvin, a radio DJ and mother of two who was killed in the mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs victory celebration Wednesday.
Of the more than 2,000 people who have donated to the fundraiser one name in particular stuck out, “Taylor Swift.”
According to reports, two $50,000 donations were made to the GoFundMe Friday around 3:30 a.m. central time.
ABC News was able to confirm the donations were sent in by the Grammy award-winner.
“Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift,” she alongside her donation.
At the time of publication more than $220,000 has been raised.
On Wednesday, during the end of the Kansas City Chiefs victory celebration, gunshots rang out causing mass panic in a crowd of hundreds of thousands of fans.
Kansas City Police reported that 23 individuals, many who are children, were injured in the mass shooting, and one died.
Authorities believe the shooting stemmed from a personal dispute. At this time two juveniles have been detained and officials are reviewing their findings to determine the appropriate charges.
Taylor Swift is a wonderful role model, I don’t care what anyone says.
