The Mountain’s ‘tiny’ wife has answered the one thing people keep asking

Many say love doesn’t have an age. Well, that goes for height, too. Game of Thrones star and strongman Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson – also known as “The Mountain”- stands 6ft 9 inches, while his wife, Kelsey Henson, is only 5ft 2 inches. In a Q&A, she answered one intimate question people have been asking about her.

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson from Reykjavik, Iceland, became a worldwide celebrity when he appeared as “The Mountain” in the mega television show Game of Thrones. Moreover, he is a professional strongman competing worldwide, having won more than 30 international titles.

As both the character from Game of Thrones and his work as a strongman suggest, he is a very large and strong man. In fact, Björnsson stands at an impressive 6ft 9in.

On the other hand, his wife, Kelsey Henson, is definitely “tiny,” standing 5ft 2 inches. The couple has been together for almost ten years. They became a couple in 2017 and, in October 2018, tied the knot.

Considering their height difference, on their wedding day, Henson and Björnsson snapped a beautiful, heartwarming photo as he effortlessly held her in his arms.

“It is with great pleasure that I now get to call Kelsey Morgan Henson my wife! I get to hold this beautiful woman through thick and thin for the rest of our lives! I’m so excited for all of the future adventures we will tackle side by side,” Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson wrote on Instagram.

The Mountain’s wife answersthe one thing people keep asking

During an Instagram Q&A, a fan asked Henson: “How do you kiss? Do you jump into his arms every time and wrap your legs around his waist? Please post a picture of this impressive action.”

“Ah he bends, I tiptoe. Or just say screw it, pick me up!” she replied.

Targeted by online trolls

Sadly, “The Mountain” and his wife aren’t always lucky enough to have polite fans asking them questions. In an interview with The Mirror, Björnsson revealed that he and his family have been targeted by online trolls in the past.

“I don’t get people asking me to fight face-to-face but there’s a lot of brave folk on the internet. No one has ever threatened me in real life but on Facebook and Twitter it’s all the time. You just get internet warriors,” the Icelandic strongman said, adding that despite the sometimes harsh comments, he doesn’t care.

“People try to be rude against me, my family, my girlfriend, anything. People like to be mean to people through social media.”

He continued, “That’s what people do today. If there’s anything that offends me, especially if it’s towards my family, I just block them. I don’t accept that. I don’t get upset because I like to focus on the positive. I’m the world’s strongest man. What have they achieved?”
