Alarming Sandra Bullock update only weeks after partner’s death confirms what we feared

Sandra Bullock‘s heartbreak after the passing of her longtime partner Bryan Randall has been compounded by fans criticizing her in the wake of the drama involving Michael Oher, the real-life inspiration of her Oscar-winning movie The Blind Side.

According to alarming reports, the popular actress is in a bad place, with close friends and family fearing that she might be on the brink of running herself into the ground.

A new story in RadarOnline suggests that the A-lister has been hit hard by calls for her to give back her Oscar following startling revelations made by the aforementioned Oher last month.

In a dramatic twist some fourteen years after The Blind Side film was released, the real-life Oher, who became an NFL star after being born into abject poverty, claimed his adoptive partners Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy (Bullock played Leigh Anne in the movie) had swindled him into a conservatorship and cut him out of the profits garnered by the blockbuster film.

The Tuohys, meanwhile, have accused Oher of trying to shake them down before filing his lawsuit.

Given Bullock’s involvement in the telling of Oher’s story on the big screen – as well as the immense popularity it enjoyed – it should come as no surprise that the Hollywood star has found herself under fire.

As stated, there have been numerous calls for Bullock to return the Oscar she won for her role as Leigh Anne Tuohy – fans argued that she did not deserve the award if the story had been based on a lie.

Oher himself moved to defend Bullock after going public with his claims against the Tuohys. He stated: “She gave a brilliant performance. And that shouldn’t be tarnished for something that had nothing to do with her.”

He told Fox News Digital: “I wish they would just leave her alone because … she’s going through her own things right now, you know with the love she just lost. You know, she suffered a great loss.”

Despite not being targeted by Oher, though, Bullock is naturally having a hard time of things, and being singled out to face the anger of people who believe her Academy Award wasn’t fully deserved has come at the wrong time.

Speed star Bullock recently lost her partner, Bryan Randall, after a three-year battle with ALS.

“It’s just one heartbreak piled atop another,” a friend said, as per Radar Online. “She’s always been tough and her coping mechanisms have seen her through hard times, but she’s at the end of her rope.”

Another source revealed that the Oher drama had come before Bullock had the time to properly come to terms with Randall’s passing.

“To say Sandra was blindsided herself is an understatement,” one friend said. “She has not kept up with the Tuohys or Michael, so she didn’t know the horrible animosity brewing or that she would be drawn into it.

“At this point, Sandra’s loved ones are telling her she needs to get away and process it all.”

Our hearts go out to Sandra Bullock at this most terrible of times. I don’t think she deserves any of the hate coming her way.
