Mother-of-three Jessica Smith lives in Amory, Mississippi. On May 1, she gave birth to a long-awaited daughter. But when she finally saw her little girl, Jessica was shocked.
Little Devina’s hair was as white as snow and didn’t resemble anyone in her family.
“I didn’t know until she was born. The doctor told me she had a lot of hair during delivery but it was a shock when I saw her for the first time. She had so much hair; it was crazy,” Jessica said.
Devina’s pictures have gone viral over the last few days, and she’s been compared to Daenerys from “Game of Thrones,” because of her hair. Some people think the photos are photoshopped, but that’s not true.
After the pictures were taken, Jessica found out the reason for her daughter’s white hair. Devina has partial albinism. She’ll need to have her eyes examined in the future because her eyesight could be affected, but otherwise she’s a healthy little girl.
