Hayden Panettiere breaks silence to reveal brother Jansen’s cause of death – rest in peace

Actress Hayden Panettiere has broken her silence to reveal the cause of death of her little brother Jansen, who passed away last week aged 28.

According to reports, Jansen was found inside his home in Nyack, New York on Sunday, February 19.

An actor in his own right, Jansen appeared in films and TV series such as The X’sTiger CruiseRacing StripesThe Martial Arts KidThe Walking DeadPerfect Game and How High 2.

He also starred in Disney Channel original movies and made-for-TV Nickelodeon films, earning a nomination for the Young Artist Award back in 2008 for his work on “The Last Day of Summer.”

As per reports, the 28-year-old posted his final picture on social media earlier this month, just weeks before his passing.

According to the Daily Mail, and insider claimed that Jansen had been “having a rough time lately with his career.”

“He had been having a rough time lately with his career and he was dragged in so many directions,” the source said. 

“Hayden is just inconsolable. He was her best friend and her only brother. He was such a nice guy but he lived on the edge.”

In a new statement today, Hayden Panettiere, known for her roles in celebrated TV series such as Heroes and Nashville, as well as the rest of Jansen’s family, broke their silence regarding Jansen’s unexpected passing.

According to the Mirror, the statement reads: “Though it offers little solace, the Medical Examiner reported Jansen’s sudden passing was due to cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), coupled with aortic valve complications.”

It continued: “We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and support towards our family as we navigate this unthinkable loss, and ask that we be gifted our privacy during this time of mourning.

“We love you so much Jansen and you will be in our hearts forever.”

Rest in peace, Jansen. To lose someone at such a young age is truly a tragedy.
