Little People star Tori Roloff says that son Jackson is beginning to see that he’s ”different”

Tori and Zach Roloff’s oldest son, Jackson, is 5 years old and hitting big goals!

The The Little People, Big World parents were at his first game to proudly watch their boy score for his team.

Tori shared photos and video of the big moment on Instagram, adding, “I can’t tell you how stoked we were.”

Tori Roloff is often described as warm, kind, and down-to-earth by those who know her. She is also known for her honesty and vulnerability, as she has openly shared her experiences as a mother of a child with achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism.

In a recent Instagram post, Tori Roloff shared her emotions as she watched her son Jackson play his first soccer game. While she expressed her pride in his accomplishments and the joy of seeing him on the field, she also opened up about her feelings of fear and worry as a parent.

She acknowledged in the post: “I feel like Jackson (and others) are starting to notice that something is different about him,” adding that they asked, “why he was so small.”

Tori’s honesty and vulnerability struck a chord with many of her followers, who praised her for sharing her innermost thoughts.

Jackson had corrective surgery in 2021 to correct bowing in his legs, but kept up with all of his teammates.

Tori explained that the other boys never bullied or made fun of her son. Instead, she said, they were “just curious. It stuck with him enough to tell me on the side line though. I told him ‘that’s how God made you, now show them how fast you are!'”

She continued, “I WANT him to know he’s different. But maybe not in the way he thinks he is.

“Jackson I pray that you notice that you are different. That God has set you apart from all other people. I pray you’re different in how you see and love others. I pray that you’re different in the choices you make to keep God close to your heart,” she continued. “I pray you’re different in how you solve problems and arguments. I pray that you think differently about how the world works and adaptations that can be made.”

She added, “I pray you see your differences and use them to change the world. You are different, kid. Different than any kid I’ve ever met. You are one of a kind and I am so stinking proud to be your mom.”

Joking about the inspiration she gave her young son, she said, “My pep talk got him his first soccer goal!”

Other than Jackson, the Roloff’s are also parents to son Josiah Luke, 9 months, and daughter Lilah Ray, 3.

Tori Roloff is a strong and inspiring mother who has shown immense love and dedication towards her son Jackson. Despite facing challenges and uncertainties, Tori has remained resilient and determined to provide the best possible life for her child.
