Pre-wedding jitters can make us do some wacky things – just ask any married person and I’m sure they’ll have some tales to tell you!
Most of the time we shouldn’t take these last-minute nerves too seriously. But sometimes, as the big day draws closer, it can really bring a person’s true colors to light.
Bride Maggie Earwood found out exactly what kind of man she was marrying just moments before her wedding – and now a photo caught by her wedding photographer is touching hearts around the world.
Maggie and her now husband, from North Carolina, were high school sweethearts. There was no doubt in their minds that they were meant to spend the rest of their lives together.
However, just moments before they tied the knot, Maggie’s husband, U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Caleb Earwood, decided that there was something he needed to do. And it couldn’t wait.
He needed to pray with his soon-to-be wife.
“We were about to take our first steps in life together, and we didn’t want to take a step without it being in God’s will,” Caleb tells Today. “I prayed to God for my beautiful and intelligent wife that he blessed me with, and the amazing family I was marrying into.”
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as Caleb grasped his wife’s hand and began to pray, and luckily the emotional moment was caught on camera.
I have photographed alot of weddings. This has to be one of the best things i have ever got to see much less…

“When I first grabbed his hand, he was shaking really bad, so I knew he was really nervous,” Maggies tells Today. “It relieved me to know the person I was getting ready to marry felt the same way about God.”
