Parents All Over The World Are Hailing This Dad’s Lovely Gesture To His Deaf Daughter.

Charlotte Cambell, 6-years-old, from Australia, was born with impaired hearing. She had her first cochlear implant when she was 4-years-old and recently had her second one.

And now, her dad Alistair has a cochlear implant as well: as a tattoo on the side of his head.

He tells New Zealand Herald he did the tattoo in a gesture of support and love towards his daughter and to help her not feel like the odd one out. If he had an implant as well, it would be easier for Charlotte to get used to her new implant.

– Hey my hair can grow back, he tells New Zealand Herald.

When Charlotte first saw her dad’s tattoo she started to giggle, she touched it and told him it was cool. This was Alistairs first tattoo. He says it took about 45 minutes to make.
– It hurt a bit, but it was nothing I couldn’t handle, he says.

Such a nice gesture from this dad and it wouldn’t surprise me if he’ll be nominated as ”Dad of the Year”.
