Sharon Osbourne went on record earlier this year to confirm that she’d been using the weight loss drug Ozempic to drop close to 30lbs, but her fans were likely shocked all the same as she made a TalkTV appearance recently.
Osbourne, alongside husband Ozzy and the pair’s children, Kelly and Jack, were interviewed by Piers Morgan and discussed a number of different topics, though it was perhaps Sharon’s rake-thin look that generated the most attention.
“I didn’t want to go this thin,” Sharon told Piers, months after revealing that she had been making a concerted effort to lose weight.
Sharon Osbourne’s weight loss
Indeed, no sooner had the clip of the Osbourne’s on TalkTV made it to the internet, did people quickly begin to comment on Sharon’s seemingly frail new look.
One Twitter user said the former X-Factor judge “looked like a different person”. Another commented that she had become “too skinny”.
A third reflected: “They all look sick like this. Erika Jayne Kyle etc. They all have dysmorphia and need a good psychiatrist.”
A fourth, meanwhile, said: “WOW. These pictures of Sharon Osbourne look really really bad, she has lost so much weight that she looks decades older, she looks frail.“
As mentioned, Sharon was fairly open regarding her weight-loss journey earlier this year. According to the Daily Mirror, she said: “In my life, the heaviest I was 230 pounds and I’m now under a hundred. And I want to maintain at about 105 because I’m too skinny. But I’m trying to have a healthy balance.”
Having stopped taking Ozempic, the 70-year-old told E! News: “It’s just time to stop, I didn’t actually want to go this thin but it just happened. I’ll probably put it all on again soon!”
Of course, this is hardly the first time Sharon’s appearance has become a topic of impassioned discussion online.
Sharon’s plastic surgery
Back in April of this year, the TV personality revealed that she was quitting plastic surgery for good after having undergone a “horrendous” facelift in October of 2021 that left her with one eye lower than the other.
“‘You’ve got to be f—ing joking,’” she recalled telling the surgeon after seeing the results.
“One eye was different to the other. I looked like a f—ing Cyclops. I’m, like, ‘All I need is a hunchback,’” she told The Sunday Times last year.
She then told The Sun: “That one put me off and it frightens me. I really f—ing pushed it with the last facelift and I am now like, no more.”
